KHLOÉ KARDASHIAN: 25 LBS.
Despite feeling "stressed" about gaining 11 lbs. in the first five months of her pregnancy, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was set on losing all her baby weight — 25 lbs. in total — after welcoming daughter True, with healthy eating and regular exercise. Fad diets were not part of her plan.
"I truly dislike when people report I've lost a tremendous amount of weight in a short amount of time or when people claim I’m doing these ridiculous diets," she tweeted shortly after becoming a mom. "It’s really setting the wrong tone. I believe in making lifestyle changes when it comes to my food."
GISELE BÜNDCHEN: 30 LBS.
"I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week," the supermodel told Vogue in 2010. She also practiced mindful eating. "I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals."
KYLIE JENNER: 40 LBS.
In March 2018, Jenner revealed that she gained a total of 40 lbs. during her pregnancy with Stormi, in a now-deleted tweet during a Q&A session with fans and followers.
Sources previously told PEOPLE that the new mom was determined to get back into pre-pregnancy shape because she wants to be a "really hot young mom."
“Kylie is already starting to work out,” an insider said. “She’s focusing on getting her body back and also getting back to a comfortable weight aside from caring for Stormi,” adding that she “wasn’t the most comfortable while pregnant.”
SALMA HAYEK: 50 LBS.
"I gained so much weight, I got an opportunity to see myself completely disfigured in many different ways — for a very good reason — and I don't regret it for a second," Hayek told Glam Belleza Latina in 2013 after giving birth to daughter Valentina, whom she welcomed in 2007.
She added: "That's when I started appreciating my body. The things that I used to criticize, they were not that bad after all."
CHRISSY TEIGEN: 40 LBS.
A few months before giving birth to son Miles, the model and Cravings author shared a candid pregnancy moment on Twitter, revealing to fans about her latest weight gain. "Up 40 lbs. and not one ounce went to my butt," Teigen tweeted, adding, "Please stop shaming the buttless, we are trying."
HAYDEN PANETTIERE: 40 LBS.
"I'm 5'2" and I started out at 106 lbs. and guess how much I weight now? Around 145 lbs.," the actress told Hello! Magazine in 2014 while carrying daughter Kaya, whom she welcomed that year. "And the worst part is that my feet are still size five and they're going, 'What's going on with all this weight?' They're about to snap from underneath me with the strain."
KIM KARDASHIAN WEST: 60 LBS.
Back when she was pregnant with son Saint in 2015, Kardashian West wrote a blog post about the unrealistic post-baby body expectations moms face. "A few weeks to go and 60 pounds up! I look at other celebrities and Instagram girls who are literally so skinny right after giving birth. How is that possible?!?!" she wrote, adding: "F---, I hope people don't expect that from me, lol!"
JENNIFER LOPEZ: 50 LBS.
"When I got pregnant [with twins Max and Emme], I remember watching my back, belly and butt grow and thinking, 'I will never be the same again,' " she told Stella in 2013. "Then I remember right after the twins were born having that weird jiggly belly — and kind of loving that. Because I earned that jiggly belly."
KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN: 45 LBS.
For the reality star, "bouncing back" to her pre-pregnancy weight was the least of her concerns after welcoming daughter Penelope in 2012. "I gained nearly 45 lbs. I'm 5-ft. tall, so that's a lot," she shared in 2012. Her strategy for now? "While I'm here around the house, I just eat healthy."
KATHERINE HEIGL: 50 LBS.
In 2017, the actress shared a blog post about her weight loss journey seven months after welcoming son Joshua, admitting her 50-lb. weight gain left her with "moments of sheer panic."
"I had hoped to only gain 25-30 lbs. like my mother during her pregnancies but found that just wasn’t possible for me," she wrote. "Despite starting my gestation out on a pregnancy friendly meal plan and hiking my butt off 5 days a week my weight kept creeping up."
Heigl continued, "At a certain point, probably around 4 months I gave up the struggle and tried instead to respect my body’s needs and trust my instincts."
